Personal touch improves effectiveness of new skin treatment plan

A new treatment programme from French company Biologique Recherche offers a bespoke approach to skincare.

The result of four years of research, the ‘Haute Couture 1-month Programme’ provides a more targeted and convenient approach than the existing 6-month programme it is based on. Dr Philippe Allouche, Biologique Recherche’s founder & head of creation innovation and research, said some people had found the longer programme difficult to commit to, so the new programme instead focuses on specific skin issues, with specific goals.

The personalised programme begins with a ‘Skin Instant’ measurement session in which highly-trained skin professionals assess the present state of the skin and determine what it really needs. The evaluation is backed by a visual analysis, photographs and a dermo-cosmetic questionnaire.

In the next ‘preparation’ phase, specific products from the Biologique Recherche skincare range are selected for use ahead of a customised treatment.

One month after the first stage evaluation and documented analysis of data, the Haute Couture 1-month personalised skincare programme is shared with the client. A box set is presented containing a made to-measure cream and serum with a prescription sheet explaining how to follow the personalised treatment at home.

Dr. Allouche said the new programme remains true to the company’s strict methodologies and emphasis on “effectiveness”, with each client treated as a unique individual. The convenience of Haute Couture 1-month also gives potential new clients “instant access to the brand”.

He stressed that the interaction with clients was a major part of the programme’s approach. “We are changing the quality of the relationship with the client,” said Dr. Allouche. “Everyone is different and we are making a bespoke product for [each individual].”
